Terms of Service

Welcome to eGo Moto Ride Express. By accessing or using our application, you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms and Conditions ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use our Service.

1. General Eligibility

To use eGo Moto, you must be at least 18 years of age. By using our service, you represent and warrant that you are of legal age and have the capacity to enter into these Terms.

• You must provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration.
• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
• Using a fake account or impersonating another user is strictly prohibited.

2. For Passengers User

As a Passenger using our booking service, you agree to:

• Booking Accuracy: Provide correct pickup and drop-off locations.
• Punctuality: Be ready at the pickup point. Riders typically wait for 5 minutes. Repeated no-shows may result in account restrictions.
• Behavior: Treat Riders with respect and dignity. Verbal or physical abuse will result in a permanent ban.
• Payment: Settle fare promptly. Use of the app implies agreement to pay for services rendered.
• Prohibited Items: Do not carry illegal items, weapons, or flammable substances inside the vehicle.

3. For Riders Provider

As a Rider, you are an independent contractor agreeing to:

• Vehicle Standards: Maintain a roadworthy, clean, and safe vehicle. Ensure it meets LTO requirements.
• Documentation: Submit valid Driver's License, Vehicle OR, CR, and Barangay Clearance upon registration.
• Professional Conduct: Drive safely, follow traffic laws, and provide a comfortable experience.
• Acceptance: Accept ride requests fairly based on availability and proximity. Do not discriminate based on race, religion, or gender.
• Payment Integrity: Do not overcharge passengers. Fares must match the app fare.
• Helmets: Provide extra helmets for passengers if required by law or requested.
• Cancellation: Do not cancel accepted rides without a valid reason. Excessive cancellations may affect your rating.

4. Payments & Fares

Payment terms for both Passengers and Riders:

• All transactions are secured via eGo Moto.
• Fares: Fares are calculated based on minimum rate. Riders may add additional charges for toll fees or heavy luggage with consent.
• Disputes: All payment disputes must be reported within 24 hours of the ride.

5. Data Privacy Agreement

Both Passengers and Riders acknowledge and agree to our Data Privacy Policy. By using our service, you consent to the collection, storage, and processing of your personal data (Name, Contact, Location, ID Documents) for the purposes stated in our Privacy Policy.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, eGo Moto shall not be liable for:

• Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of our service.
• Loss of personal property left in the vehicle (passengers are advised to check for belongings).
• Actions, omissions, or negligence of Riders or Passengers (independent contractors/users).
• Delays caused by traffic, weather, or other conditions beyond our control.

7. Termination & Suspension

• We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
• Rider Violations: Safety violations, overcharging, fraud, or poor ratings.
• Passenger Violations: Harassment, theft, refusal to pay, or false bookings.
• Users may appeal a suspension by contacting support@egomoto.com.
